Rails comes with many batteries included. Not all of them are fully charged. Keep that in mind when you start a new project and think "Let's just use what's already there..."

I will talk a little in general about oauth, try to argument why you most probably do not need your own oauth, discussing some misunderstandings and some dangers of oauth and show some small examples, how to include your own oauth via doorkeeper included into a rails project.
